Most vitamin C serums irritate sensitive skin before they can help it. This one doesn't.

Alpha-Berry uses Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate — a stable form of vitamin C your skin can absorb without the redness, stinging, or next-morning regret. Paired with Mountain Pepper Berry, Kakadu Plum and Hyaluronic Acid. Ingredients that earn their place.

Four weeks in, you'll see it.

Key benefits:

  • Visibly brighter skin in weeks, not months — targets dullness, uneven tone, and the kind of tired-looking skin that no amount of sleep seems to fix.
  • Formulated to play nice with sensitive skin — no purging, no redness spiral, no three-week adjustment phase. Just results without the drama.
  • Supports collagen production where midlife skin needs it most — helping skin look firmer, plumper, and more like it did before hormones decided to do their thing.
  • Antioxidant protection that works while you work — neutralises free radical damage from daily stressors (pollution, screens, stress itself) so skin isn't constantly playing catch-up.

Why it works

What this does for your skin

Visibly brighter skin in weeks, not months

Targets dullness, uneven tone, and the kind of tired-looking skin that no amount of sleep seems to fix. Results are real and cumulative — most people notice a visible glow improvement within two weeks.

Supports collagen where midlife skin needs it most

Vitamin C is essential for collagen synthesis — and our levels drop significantly from our mid-30s. Daily topical application supports your skin's natural collagen production, improving firmness and reducing the appearance of fine lines over time.

Antioxidant protection that works while you work

Neutralises free radical damage from UV exposure, pollution and daily stress before it can affect your skin cells. Think of it as insurance for your SPF — worn together, they work significantly better than either alone.

Formulated to be tolerated by sensitive skin

Most Vitamin C serums irritate sensitive skin before they help it. This one doesn't. The stable, skin-compatible form of Vitamin C in this formula delivers results without the redness, tingling or purging phase.

What's inside

The ingredients doing the work

A focused formula — effective actives at the concentrations that matter, in a stable base designed to keep sensitive skin comfortable.

Alpha-Berry vitamin C serum bottle and dropper detail
  • Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Vitamin C)

A stable, water-soluble derivative of Vitamin C that converts to active ascorbic acid once absorbed. Significantly more tolerable than L-Ascorbic Acid for sensitive skin, without sacrificing the brightening, collagen-supporting and antioxidant benefits that Vitamin C is known for.

  • Hyaluronic Acid

Draws moisture to the skin and holds it there. Keeps the serum comfortable on application and prevents any dryness that actives can sometimes cause.

  • Mountain Pepper Berry

An Australian native with serious antioxidant credentials — Mountain Pepper Berry contains pseudosaponins and volatile compounds that help neutralise free radicals and support the skin's natural defence against environmental stress. It also has natural antimicrobial properties, making it particularly useful for skin that tends toward sensitivity or congestion.

  • Kakadu Plum

The world's richest natural source of Vitamin C — Kakadu Plum contains up to 100 times more Vitamin C than an orange. Grown in the wild across northern Australia, it delivers a concentrated hit of antioxidants that brighten, protect and support collagen synthesis. When paired with Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate, the two forms of Vitamin C work synergistically to amplify results.

How to use

How to use

Morning — after cleansing

Apply 3–4 drops to clean, dry skin. Press gently into the face, neck and décolletage. Allow 60 seconds to absorb before the next step.

Follow with SPF

Vitamin C works best — and lasts longer — under broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher. The two together provide significantly more antioxidant protection than either alone.

Can be used morning and evening. Safe for daily use from day one — no adjustment period required.

Jules on this product

“I've been using a vitamin C serum every morning for years. This is the first one I've found that actually works on sensitive skin without making it worse first. The difference at four weeks is real — and I've recommended it to everyone who's asked me why my skin looks different.”

Questions

The ones we actually get asked

  • Is this suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes — it's specifically formulated for it. The Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate (MAP) in this formula is a gentle, stable form of Vitamin C that doesn't trigger the redness or irritation that standard Vitamin C serums can cause. If your skin is very reactive, patch test on your inner arm for two to three days before applying to your face.

  • Can I use it with retinol or AHAs?

Yes, but not at the same time. Use Vitamin C in the morning and retinol or AHAs at night. Combining actives in the same session increases irritation risk without improving results.

  • How long before I see results?

Most people notice a glow improvement within one to two weeks. Meaningful improvement to dark spots, texture and firmness typically takes four to eight weeks of consistent daily use. Vitamin C is a long game — but the results are cumulative and lasting.

  • Can I use this if I’ve tried Vitamin C before and reacted badly?

Very likely yes. Most reactions to Vitamin C serums are caused by L-Ascorbic Acid at a low pH — which is highly effective but can be harsh. This formula uses MAP instead, which works at a skin-compatible pH and is well tolerated by people who've had trouble with traditional Vitamin C. Patch test first if you're unsure.
