As the colder days draw in and we seek comfort food, this Healthy Paleo Berry Crisp is sure to make you feel all warm and fuzzy without the guilt of high carb refined sugar indulgence.

Ingredients
- Ingredients for the berry mix:
- - 1 cup of organic strawberries, sliced and washed
- - 1 cup organic blueberries, washed
- - 1 cup of organic blackberries, washed
- - 1 cup of organic raspberries, washed
- - Zest and juice from 1 lemon
- - 1/2 cup of maple syrup (or coconut sugar)
- - 1 tablespoon of chia seeds (optional)
- Ingredients for the topping:
- - 1 cup of finely ground almond flour
- - 1/2 cup of coconut sugar
- - 1/3 cup of diced almonds
- - 1/3 cup of diced pecans
- - 6 tablespoons of vegan butter or coconut oil
Directions
Place in a lined baking dish and bake in a pre-heated oven at 175 degrees, covered with a foil, for 20 minutes. Then, uncover and bake for an additional 20 minutes until golden brown and bubbling, enjoy.
