This iron rich green smoothie is packed full of iron and folate, plus magnesium, vitamins B and C, amino acids, protein and fiber. It literally is a superfood smoothie for your gut and whole body health.

Ingredients

1 Large Cup of Spinach Leaves

1 Banana

1 Avocado

1 thumb sized piece of fresh ginger peeled

1 Large Cup of Frozen Mango Chunks

¼ Cup of Chia Seeds

½ Cup of Greek Yoghurt (omit if dairy free or can use coconut yoghurt)

1 Sachet of Metabolism & Energy Superblend Lemon & Lime flavour

1 Sachet of Luminance Collagen Peptides

2 Scoops of Protein Powder - natural or vanilla flavour

1 Cup of Ice

1 Cup of nut milk such as almond milk

Top up with water
Directions
Put all the ingredients into a blender, add the ice and top up with water, you can add more after you have blended it if you feel the smoothie is too thick.
Blend for 2 minutes on high in a blender and pour into two tall glasses, drink immediately.
Recipe Note
You can swap out ingredients in this green smoothie and also add more in, it tastes great with pineapple instead of mango and you can also add things like flax seed which can help with hormone health.
If you do not eat dairy then swap out the greek yoghurt for either coconut yoghurt omit completely. The avocado gives the smoothie a really nice creamy texture so you do not necessarily need the yoghurt to do this, we added greek yoghurt for an extra shot of protein.
